June 4th, 2009

Well...summer is just about here. We've been having quite a bit of "June Gloom" weather out here in L.A....and even some much needed rain...which I won't complain about!

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be appearing at ColossalCon in Sandusky, Ohio this weekend, June 6th and 7th...I have never been and am looking forward to meeting everyone out there!

I've been pretty busy...

I just performed Monday night, June 1st, for Gina Starbuck's ART 4 LIFE Benefit at Cinespace in Hollywood. It was my third year in a row and we had a blast! Stellar guitarist, Christian Nesmith, backed me up on the classic Beatles tune "Oh Darling". It's so much fun to let that rocker chick come out sometimes!

Also, in April, I had the honor of performing with The San Fernando Valley Symphony. I sang pieces from the album "Songs from A Child's Point Of View", with which I performed the music of composer, Charles Fernandez...on the album, I was backed by none other than The Royal London Philharmonic. The CD is to be released in the next month!

I also toured with Vox Lumiere's "Hunchback Of Notre Dame" to Ontario, Canada as well as an amazing run in Boston. Joel and I got to tour together on this one and we had a blast!

I am continuing work on "Blue Dragon"...always lots of fun as Bouquet!

I started a new series...really adorable...called "Hello Kioka"...I am playing Fifi and Koko.

And I sang a demo for a wonderful composer...Michael Stein. An awesome rock song, with flavors of The Pretenders and The Beatles. I will ask him if I can post it here on the site...the rocker chick really lets loose on this one...so much fun!!

I will be travelling a lot this summer...going to the south of France, Northern California and to New York...can't wait!!
