Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I've updated...that's because I've been busier than ever with my greatest project of all! My son Jude was born on February 23 and he is so wonderful...being a mom is the most incredible joy.
No rest for mommies, though...I am grateful to be back performing again. This week I open Reprise's production of "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" at the Freud Playhouse in Westwood. I play the bombshell secretary Hedy LaRue...once again I am a blonde! She is a fabulous part and the cast is spectacular, and our director, Marcia Milgrom Dodge, just received a Tony nomination for her work on "Ragtime", so this is really a special show and I am so happy to be returning to the stage with this company! You can get more info and tickets here: http://www.reprise.org/shows/how-to-succeed-in-business
Also, I will be performing on May 31 at Art 4 Life 4, which will be at Hollywood & Highland this year. I have performed at this fantastic event all four years of its existence...it's a benefit for the American Cancer Society and is organized by my friend and former Wicked castmate Gina Starbuck. I will be performing one song with my band...please come out to support this great charity if you are in town: http://art4lifela.com/Welcome.html
My album is still selling strongly and I hope to book some more gigs soon...maybe this summer!
Thanks so much for stopping by and supporting me!
xo,
Melissa
Current Projects:
Variety:
"Melissa Fahn channels Jean Hagen's Lina Lamont from "Singin' in the Rain," a pretty sage approach to va-va-voom Hedy LaRue. She is priceless."

Orange County Register:
"Melissa Fahn steals a scene or two as ditzy blonde Hedy LaRue, whose non-existent skills are more than counterpoised by her, um, obvious assets."

Backstage:
"John O'Hurley is a hoot as stuffy, philandering executive J.B. Biggley, and the sparks fly uproariously during his scenes with terrific Melissa Fahn as his "bubble-headed tomato" mistress."

"Loveable as well is...Melissa Fahn stealing the spotlight as Hedy LaRue."

LA Times:
"This kingdom of suits is ruled by J.B. Biggley (John O’Hurley), the obtuse president who’s smitten by blond bombshell Hedy LaRue (Melissa Fahn), a secretary obviously not hired for her dictation skills."
